I got married in Vegas last January. I stayed at a resort just off the strip "Tahiti Village". It was cool, the Belagio, Luxor, and Wynn are all really nice but you get nothing other then a bed and tv, where I stayed I had a 1 BR apt. Staying on the strip would be nice but your going to pay the price, I would suggest getting something just off the strip that has a shuttle bus to the strip. I was literally 5-10 mins away from the strip via shuttle bus so I was there everyday. To save a few bucks being that I had a full fridge the resort had a shuttle that went to the local grocery store so I loaded up with drinks, snacks, and food. as for what to do I would suggest going to see a couple Cirque De Soleil shows, they have a spot on the strip where you can get up to 50% off same days tickets just like NYC has TKTS.

You def wanna check out the outlets, I was across the street from one of the outlets and my resort has a shuttle to another. Also there is NO need for a rental or cab, there is a bus that runs on the strip called the Deuce that goes up and down the strip all day and its like 5.00 for a day pass or at least it was last year. Hope this info helped, hit me up with any other questions.

wow, the way this is described here it makes me feel like its cheaper to vacation in vegas than to live my day-to-day here in NYC!   Mazel Tov!
